TB MAC hosts it’s AGM on country-level modelling and modelling the interplay between UHC and TB in Istanbul

Earlier this month we held a meeting focusing on different aspects of country-level modelling and modelling the interplay between primary care/universal health coverage and TB. Sessions on country-level modelling included efforts to improve quality and transparency, data linking intervention activities to their epidemiological impact, economic modelling to support decision-making, the Global Funds key performance indicator around efficiency, and approaches to subnational TB burden estimation.  This was our 10th TB MAC meeting and third joint TB MAC/WHO Task Force Annual Meeting, held at the Double Tree Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. It brought together funders, modellers, economists and other members of the TB community for some productive discussions and interesting talks. For more details the meeting resource and report are expected to be out shortly.
